  • You can pay the fees electronically with a credit card, debit card, net banking, or a check or demand draft made out to NSDL.
  • You will get a page with an acknowledgment number after the payment goes through. You need to print this page out.
  • Now, stick your most recent passport-sized photos on the acknowledgment paper and use only a black pen to sign the box in the middle.
  • Now, you have 15 days from the date you applied online to send your name, proof that you live in the country, and your recognition letter to the Income Tax Department.
  • After all the checks are done, the PAN card number is sent to the applicant’s listed phone number and email address.

Using The UTIITSL Portal

  • To get a new PAN card, visit the government website, UTIITSL.
  • Click the drop-down menu next to Services in the top bar and choose PAN card.
  • First, choose Apply PAN card from the drop-down menu following PAN Card.
  • Now, click on your PAN card as an Indian native or non-resident Indian.
  • Click on Form 49A, “Apply for a new PAN card.” This will take you to a new page where you must choose “Digital Mode” to apply for your PAN online.
  • Now, please fill in the required personal information.
  • Before you click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page, ensure all the information you give is correct.
  • Then click “Submit.” You will then be taken to the payment page, where you must pay Rs 94.

  • You will get a page with a recognition number after the payment. You need to print this page out.
  • Now, put your most recent passport-sized photos on the recognition paper and use only a black pen to sign the box in the middle.
  • Now, you have 15 days from the date you applied online to send your name, proof that you live in the country, and your recognition letter to the Income Tax Department.
  • Once the verification is done, the applicant’s listed phone number and email address will receive the PAN card number. Within 20 business days, the applicant will receive their new PAN card.

Apply For A PAN card Offline

  • You can get Form 49A from the NSDL or UTIITSL website and print it out.
  • Now, list all of your personal and required information.
  • The information you give must be related to your proof of name and evidence that you live in the country.
  • Attach a recent color picture of the size of a visa to all of your papers.
  • Now, take your application form and all the papers connected to it to the NSDL office or UTIITSL PAN service center closest to you. You can also pay the Rs 94 application fee online, by DD, or in cash.
  • Once the verification is done, the PAN card number is sent to the registered phone and email address. Your new PAN card will arrive in 20 business days.
